The La’z – Saturday 7th June 2025
The La’z… ‘there they go’… or ‘here we go!!’ Stemming from a show promoted by the legendary ‘Classic Double band’ at the Camp and Furnace, Liverpool. The Classic Double band (Joel Goldberg, Adam Goldberg, and Luke Heague) are recognised as some of the most accomplished musicians in Liverpool, who put on regular shows of two classic albums back-to-back. It is a hugely popular night in Liverpool. They decided to put on a show doing the La’s album and Love Forever changes, bringing in Mark Frith (ex The Troubadours) to play the part of Lee Mavers. It was supposed to be a one-off event…. but once videos and audio from the gig were shared online there was a massive call for the lads to tour it around the country… so here we are… The La’z… There they go again
