DIIO – Tribute to DIO – Saturday 24th November 2018

DIIO are a tribute to the master of metal, Ronnie James Dio and play the best of Dio’s solo output and the greats from his years in Black Sabbath and Rainbow.
DIIO boasts members from some of the UK’s best known tribute acts such as Hi-On Maiden, Sack Sabbath and Hell Bent For Priest.

The Darker my Horizon

UK based ‘The Darker my Horizon was formed late 2014 by former ‘Sacred Heart’ duo: frontman Paul Stead & guitarist Mark Stephenson – who wasted no time in starting the recording of their début album “Acquiesce” – which was released to much acclaim in March the following year.
They have had high profile supports with iconic rockers ‘Nazareth’, Queensryche founder ‘Geoff Tate’s Operation:Mindcrime’, ‘Terry Brock’ (Kansas, Michael Bolton, Giant) ‘Leatherwolf’, ‘Martina Edoff’ (The Poodles), ‘Enuff Z’nuff” and legendary metal vocalist ‘Steve Grimmett’s Grim Reaper’ (amongst many).
Influenced by all things hard rock – from the classic stadium fillers of the late 80’s: Guns n Roses, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Europe etc, through to modern arena giants: Nickelback, Disturbed, Alter Bridge, Hinder etc. – ‘The Darker my Horizon’ offer an incredible & upbeat stage show, mixing rock, metal, pop and a softer side – full of melody.

The Clan

No strangers to the Tivoli, UK Good time Feel good Rockers The Clan continue to deliver their own brand of catchy rock at venues and festivals all over the country as they have done very successfully for the last 8 years. Either performing in their own right or opening for acts such as LA Guns, Uli Jon Roth, Wishbone Ash and Raven, to name but a few, the band’s stated aim is to put smiles on people’s faces and just have fun; After all Rock & Roll was never meant to be taken seriously. Their most recent album , the Live “Second Helpings “was well received and voted No.2 Live album of the year on Dr Wart Hoovers Influential Rock Radio show. Expect classics from their extensive back catalogue plus tracks from their new album “Rise Up”.
